Looking for mast material

Hi Rob,,,        2"  ??    Are you sure??       That's pretty big for the typical ham antenna and rotor....

I see you have a new  Wade/Delhi tower going up soon...    If you put the rotator inside the top section
with a mast bearing on the top plate the clamps are generally sized for 1-1/2" standard pipe  (schedule 40)
which has an OD of 1.9".   This will be plenty strong enough for all but the very largest of multi-element yagis..

Make sure you buy  Pipe,,  not Tubing..     Also, Look for  aluminum pipe,   it's a lot lighter and probably still
has adequate strength..     Or you can upgrade to schedule-80 aluminum (thicker wall).. 

What antennas are you planning??   Do you know the wind loadings ?     Would be interesting to calculate
the bending moment at the top bearing...
