Note: A station attempted to check in but net control could not hear the call sign owing to noise and low signal strenght. Maureen VE3MIO reported that she copied VE3TGN. A search on QRZ revealed that VE3TGN belongs to Timothy G Noble of Windsor Ontario. Details on the site also indicated that the distance from Net Control is 160 Kilometers. There is no email associated with this account and so it is not possible to email them to confirm a contact. However there is an address and so I may mail a confirmation seeking a QSL.

Marvin, most of us heard VE3GTN and he said he is from Windsor but was in Sauble Beach.  Pretty sure he said he was on a handheld which explains why he was so scratchy into the repeter.  Thanks for doing the August 31 net.
