1. May-June 2026 eTCA is now available

The May-June 2026 issue of The Canadian Amateur is now available for viewing
or download.

2. RAC Canada Day Contest Rules 2026

The RAC Canada Day Contest celebrates Canada’s Birthday on
Confederation Day (July 1).
Amateurs all over the world are invited to join us in these celebrations.
A PDF version of the contest rules is provided at:

They are now being translated and we will post a French version once they
are ready.

Please review them carefully to ensure full understanding of the contest
categories and requirements.

4.   Which digital voice mode to try first (VHF/UHF)?

The six modes covered here: DMR, D-STAR, YSF/WiRES-X, NXDN, P25, and M17
differ in ways that aren’t always obvious to someone just now entertaining
the idea of going digital. Here is a nice comparison.
