Some may be skeptical about Linux due to working with it on Raspberry Pi's which are underpowered and ARM based. But its worth giving a shot on older hardware, especially if that hardware can't follow the upgrade path to Windows 11. I highly recommend Linux Mint for its similarity to Windows interface.
