You know John, CW is cool and all, and good for you to be a dedicated CW operator.  There are so many other avenues to amateur radio for all to enjoy.  It doesn't necessarily make us softies, it just means that we either don't have the same interest as you or we have moved on to a new interest.  We don't use statements as "entitled and snotty CW operators" because we know not all of the CW operators are of that ilk. 
Some of us like the "idle chit chat" of phone and others enjoy the digital lifestyle.  It doesn't make the CW guys any better or on a level any higher than others.  We all enjoy the hobby in the way that we prefer...
