https://www.sota.org.uk/

Over 30 SOTA activators are planning to climb to summits in Europe, Canada, US, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand and Japan.

The event will start around 0630UTC next Saturday. Pretty much ALL Bands - ALL modes !!

There are actually summits in Ontario – Wikipedia says anything over 1600Ft above sea level is a summit !

I looked at this a couple of years ago. The SOTA website says a "summit" must have a prominence (height above surrounding terrain) of at least 150m. In some cases they allow 100m. Most of the peaks listed on ontariohighpoints.com don'r meet this. Most that do, look pretty inaccessible on Google Earth - unless you hire a helicopter & rappel in :-)

One exception is Tower Mountain, outside Thunder Bay - reachable by road. It has never been activated for SOTA. Field trip anyone?
