Added a zepp antenna yesterday, complete with ladder line into a ten tec tuner. Just finished replacing all the bulbs with led's...looks pretty now.... the zepp hears better than the ipole... if there is a station at s9 on the dipole, it will be 10 over on the zepp...

That's great Tom.
What are the antenna dimensions and bands you got the reports on?

Here is a website with some details on the zepp antenna...

http://www.iw5edi.com/ham-radio/428/dou ... pp-antenna

My observations were done while receiving and watching the spectrum scope on the IC-7300, and while switching between the inverted vee and the zepp, one can see the signal levels increase as well as the s-meter on the rig. In addition you can hear the difference with your own ear. The nice thing is, if you make an 40 meter antenna, you can load it on 80 .... my antenna is 163 feet long up about 50 feet.

If you use any feedline other than open wire feeders, and end up with matching stubs or baluns, then the antenna will no longer be "multi band". Now that I have the tuner fixed up I'll do more tests on all the bands to see how it does... have fun
