INTERCEPT Signal Intelligence // by smittix
#1

INTERCEPT is a web-based dashboard created by smittix that provides a unified, modern interface for various signal intelligence (SIGINT) tools. Rather than running multiple command-line tools separately, it consolidates them into a single, sleek web interface that runs locally under Linux or Mac.  You can access from a browser on any device on your local network.

The program integrates six main modules for signal monitoring and analysis:

  1. Pager Decoding - Decodes POCSAG (512/1200/2400) and FLEX pager protocols, still used by emergency services in some regions
  2. 433MHz Sensors - Monitors ISM band devices like weather stations, IoT sensors, and other wireless devices
  3. ADS-B Aircraft Tracking - Displays real-time aircraft positions on an interactive map with historical traces
  4. Satellite Monitoring - Predicts satellite passes and detects Iridium bursts using TLE data
  5. WiFi Reconnaissance - Can put wireless adapters in monitor mode to analyze networks and potentially capture WPA handshakes
  6. Bluetooth Scanning - Scans for nearby Bluetooth devices

Technical Details

Built with Python and Flask for the backend
Uses Leaflet.js for mapping functionality
Real-time data streaming via server-sent events
Works with RTL-SDR dongles (also supports LimeSDR and HackRF with additional drivers)
Runs on port 5050 by default
Requires sudo/root for full functionality
MIT licensed open-source project

Important Notes
The program includes legal disclaimers about monitoring communications, as intercepting certain signals may be regulated or illegal depending on your jurisdiction. It's designed to lower the barrier of entry for people interested in software-defined radio and signal intelligence.
