Longest QSO - Ve3dgy - 2021-03-03
Hit a milestone today and just had to tell somebody. You guys are my somebody. Made an FT8 QSO with a fellow in Pretoria Souith Africa today! 8385 miles. And he received me at a S/N of -15 dB. Not bad.
A testimony to my doublet and tuner, had 90w indicated output with SWR at 1.3:1. Thanks again John for the doublet suggestion. I was happy with Japan 3 weeks back and Greece last week, but this is a good one, 1/3 of the way around the earth! This is a great hobby
