This presentation will focus on the use of Snap on MIX-31 Ferrite of 0.25 inch inner diameter and 0.50 inch inner diameter.

Add Mix-31 Ferrite 0.25 inch (Straight pass)
   * 1 Ferrite @ Transceiver for installed External Speaker
   * 1 Ferrite @ Transceiver for Remote Head
   * 1 Ferrite @ Transceiver for Antenna without tuner
Add Mix-31 Ferrite 0.50 inch Looped @ transceiver & @ Tuner

Radio set up for Digital modes
Same as Radio Station with or without tuner
Add MIX-31 Ferrite 0.05 inch Looped

Dependent on your radio station set-up, anywhere from a few to as many as more than 19 Ferrite may be used.

Diagrams for the placement of the ferrite can be found also in the 2 attached files showing radio station set-up cabling.

Should anyone have questions on any of the above I can be reached at va3-guf@outlook.com.

Cheers

Frank
