On Wednesday January 21st between the hours of 10:00am & 11:30am, Grey County emergency amateur radio staff will be activating their VHF amateur radio, call sign VA3 GCO, contacting anyone on the Owen Sound Repeater network. Some of the Grey County amateur radio staff will also be on air with handhelds using their own call signs. I will also be on site with my handheld. Should you have your radios on and are in reach of the mike, feel free to check-in on net. They will be recording all contacts made during their radio activation exercise.
